An Affiliate Program Plugin for WordPress + Angie Makes Affiliate Program

angie makes affiliate program

I must admit, I’m pretty new on the scene to the whole idea of affiliate marketing. (Aka referral marketing) It’s just that those phrases sound so…. sleezy. If there’s one thing I try to be it’s real, down-to-earth, and honest. I just hate a sales pitch.

And don’t we all?

Cha-ching!

And really, everyone wins. A product that needs visibility gets it. You share a product that will ultimately be exactly what someone out there is looking for. And you get cash. Awesome.

I’m not into get-rich-quick schemes but I do find Pat’s blog over at Smart Passive Income remotely interesting. When you realize that the dude is raking in tens of thousands of dollars a month in affiliate earnings, you start to pay attention.

That got me thinking we should start our own affiliate program. Which we did! You can sign up here to receive a 20% commission on any referrals that result in sales in our shop. Oh, and grab a banner for your sidebar if you like. (Make sure to enter your own affiliate link!)

The Details

Each time you refer a customer who completes a purchase on angiemakes.com using your unique affiliate link, you earn a 20% commission of the sale price. Affiliates must have a Paypal account to receive monthly payouts. Sign up using the form below.

Recently, however, I’ve been turned on to this idea of affiliate marketing. The idea is that if you have a product or service that you already use, like, and are passionate about… you can tell others about it. If they like it to and end up purchasing it because of your referral,  you receive a sale’s commission.

Also, if you’re interested in starting your own affiliate program, and have a WordPress site, may I recommend using a fancy plugin that will make your life so much easier?

It’s called Affiliate Royale.

I first tried to set our affiliate program up at e-junkie (a solution to quickly set up an affiliate program) The result was atrocious. It did not integrate with my shopping cart and required a bunch of copying / pasting code. Yuck.

That’s when I stumbled upon the Affiliate Royale solution. It’s an affiliate program plugin for WordPress that literally saved me hours in setting up things. The best part? It integrates seamlessly with these shopping carts and is a breeze to set-up.

I had one little issue with the installation, emailed support, and had a response literally within seconds. To say I was impressed was an understatement!

So, if you’re in the market for some software to start your own affiliate program, look no further. At $85 / year, I’ve found it to be an easy, affordable solution and one that may just be worth your time.

End sleezy sales pitch. I really hope that wasn’t too sleezy. :)

And I hope you all consider signing up to be an affiliate!
