Want to add a cute Instagram feed into your Angie Makes WordPress Theme sidebar? No problem! It’s super easy.
Go to snapwidget.com
Click Get Your Free Widget, then go crazy with the customizations.
Basically, getting your username and the width right are the priorities here. Then simply click Get Widget. It will spit out some code like below.
Simply copy/paste this code into a blank html widget in your widget area to add the feed to your sidebar.
And admire your lovely new Instagram feed.

thanks for this.
Thank you so much! This was super easy to follow and now I am so stoked to have my pictures on my website! Yay!!
[Cry] My wp just doesnt show anything but a link to the Snap website? Was I wrong somewhere? ;__;
Did you just copy the code over and into a widget? Where did you paste the code? You have to paste it into a widgetized area! :)
I copied the code into a text widget on my Mary Kate theme and no pics show up! What did I do wrong? I checked my shortcode section and I have the URL input so it should go there.
But where is instagram direct link? :(
I followed this to a “t” and it’s not working. Any troubleshooting ideas, as they have added new content to the menu options since this tutorial? thank you!
